Bloodywood

Bloodywood is an Indian folk metal band from New Delhi, formed in 2016. They are renowned for their unique fusion of heavy metal with traditional Indian folk music, incorporating instruments like the dhol and flute into their compositions.

Initially, Bloodywood gained attention by creating metal covers of popular songs, but they soon transitioned to producing original material that addresses significant social issues, such as mental health and bullying.

Their debut album, "Rakshak," released in 2022, exemplifies this blend of genres and themes.

The band's lineup includes guitarist and flautist Karan Katiyar, vocalist Jayant Bhadula, and rapper Raoul Kerr, whose combined talents contribute to their distinctive sound.
