DRUD is a post-black metal band hailing from Villingen-Schwenningen in the Black Forest region of Germany. Formed in 2021 by former members of the band Totengeflüster, DRUD combines traditional black metal elements with post-metal influences, creating a sound characterized by themes of depression, melancholy, social criticism, and hate.
The band has released several singles, including "The Darkness Your Sun" (2021), "As We Gaze into the Abyss" (2022), and "Was einst mal war" (2024). Their debut album, "Omega," was released on December 20, 2024, featuring eight tracks that explore dark themes and showcase their unique blend of black and post-metal influences.
