Joe Holmes

Joe Holmes is an American guitarist renowned for his contributions to the heavy metal genre. Born on June 11, 1963, in New Jersey, he began his musical journey under the tutelage of the legendary Randy Rhoads in 1979. Holmes's career includes notable stints with prominent acts such as Lizzy Borden, David Lee Roth, and Ozzy Osbourne.

In 1987, Holmes joined the heavy metal band Lizzy Borden, contributing to their album "Visual Lies." He later toured with David Lee Roth in 1991, stepping in for Jason Becker. Holmes's most prominent role came between 1995 and 2001 when he played guitar for Ozzy Osbourne, co-writing songs like "Can You Hear Them?", "Junkie", and "That I Never Had" for the album "Down to Earth."

After a hiatus from the music scene, Holmes returned in 2012 with his own band, Farmikos, showcasing his enduring passion for heavy metal.
