NiEL is an active visual kei band hailing from Osaka, Japan. The band began its journey in April 2023 under the name NīL and performed their first live show on April 28, 2023, as the center guest opening for a 2MAN event featuring JIGSAW (ジグソウ) and RAN. Following a live performance on July 23, 2023, they released a free single titled "NīL" and subsequently announced a name change to NiEL, marking the commencement of their full-scale activities on September 19, 2023.
To celebrate their first anniversary, NiEL sponsored an event called "Gris Realidad," featuring performances by bands such as UNTIL’D ASH, 無修正, and NINTH IN PLUTO.
In August 2024, NiEL announced the release of their second single, "無彩の虚空に咲く色彩" (Musai no kokuu ni saku shikisai), scheduled for November 27, 2024. To commemorate this release, they planned a one-man concert at PAHEAD GROOVE in December.
