SUNWISE is an American rock band from the Midwest, specifically Illinois. Their music blends elements of hard rock, alternative rock, and space rock, drawing inspiration from the big guitars of Champaign, the dissonance of Kansas City, and the aggression of Chicago.
Their debut album, "Crime Gardens," released in May 2024, showcases a unique soundscape that alternates between unashamedly forthright rock and haunting textures and melodies.
