Vox Caprae is a Japanese free-form collective of artists and musicians, directed and produced by Frank O.T. Reilly.
Their music defies traditional genre classifications, blending elements of alternative, art pop, avant-garde, experimental rock, gothic rock, neoclassical darkwave, and synthpop.
This eclectic mix creates a unique sound that transcends conventional boundaries.
Launched in 2024, the project emerged from Reilly’s frustration and self-loathing after spending over a decade navigating Japan’s underground music scene, where he often found himself disconnected and out of sync with everything around him.
Their debut mini-album, "Vox Caprae, Acta Baphometi," is scheduled for release on February 24, 2025.
This album showcases their genre-defying style and includes tracks in Italian, Japanese, and English, reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the collective's members.
The collective is based in Japan and is led by Frank O.T. Reilly, an Italian musician residing in Japan.
This multicultural influence is evident in their music, which seamlessly blends various cultural elements.
