Scheitan is a Swedish band from Luleå, Norrbotten, that has evolved through various metal genres since its formation in 1996. Initially, they played black metal, as showcased in their debut album "Travelling in Ancient Times" (1996). They then transitioned to a death 'n' roll style with "Berzerk 2000" (1998), and later embraced gothic rock influences in "Nemesis" (1999).
After a 24-year hiatus, Scheitan returned in 2023 with new singles, including "Lost in Time," and released their fourth album, "Songs for the Gothic People," in 2024 under The Circle Music label.
