Neptune (SWE) Revenge
"Revenge" is the second single from Neptune's upcoming album, End of Time (released: September 20th, 2024).
The album's lyrics are interconnected by a partly fictional narrative. This narrative is based on Harald Hardrada's life and exploits. In the song Revenge, Harald and his crew are depicted. They are on their way back to seek revenge for a previous defeat on Egyptian soil."
Neptune, a melodic metal band from Stockholm, has roots that trace back to the 1980s. Their musical journey began in the early '80s and continued with the recording of an EP that remained unreleased until 2018, when it was finally issued along with a collection of earlier demo recordings. Building on their legacy, they released their debut full-length album, “Northern Steel,” in 2020. Not resting on their laurels, they followed up in 2022 with the EP *The Rebirth*, which features new recordings of four of their songs from the '80s.
Their third full-length album, *End of Time*, is scheduled for release on September 20, 2024.
