On this dull and rainy day
When crows don't even dare
To fly above the muddy road
I am on my way
To the shore I have to go
For my counselor and her odd magic told me so
My grandeur foretold shall stay
There no longer forlorn
Who can be that old man
Who is keeping from me
Such a mighty tool of power
And how could a simple flute
Help me to reign upon the world?
Is that a sort of magic wand?
An odd cabin lies ahead
At two steps from the sand
The sea winds strike its stone tower and wooden walls
An old bearded man is at the door
His attention I call
For sure he is the one I am looking for
My dear man open your door
And kneel before your king
I've come to take from you something I need
Oh no my king, the flute you talk about is doomed
A curse lies in its wood
It has brought so many men to madness and death
For kingdom's sake to none it shall be given
Who are you taking me for?
To obey to the king is the law
To Hell is the curse
You can't take over such power for you alone
For power is matter of kings
And king of anything you are not
Give me what I want
Now I kindly ask: open that bloody chest!
Noble king the power you envy is corrupt
Evil forces sleep in the chest
Please do not give in to greed
And stay away from that curse
Let me protect you from your fall
Well then my poor old man
Betrayer to the realm
If you don't want to act
Like you are ordered to
Prepare for my return
Yet you have been warned
Next time I'll come with the strength
That will make you want to obey
