უხსოვარი დროიდან სხვადასხვა ქვეყანაში თაყვანს ხის კულტს სცემდნენ.
განსხვავებულ კულტურებში კეთილისმყოფელი სულები ხის სახით ჰყავდათ წარმოდგენილი.
წმინდა ხის კულტი გავრცელებული იყო საქართველოშიც.
წმინდა ხეებად მიიჩნეოდა მუხა, ურთხელი/უთხოვარი, ძელქვა, ბზა, ცაცხვი, წაბლი, კოპიტი, ნეკერჩხალი, ნაძვი, სოჭი, კედარი და სხვა.
ჩვენს წინაპრებს სჯეროდათ რომ გარდაცვლილი ადამიანების სულები ხის ფოთლებსა და ტოტებში ინაცვლებდნენ.
ამ ხეების ქვეშ სხვადასხვა სახის რიტუალი და ლოცვა სრულდებოდა.

როცა ბავშვი ავად გახდებოდა, მამა მიდიოდა წმინდა ხესთან (ამ შემთხვევაში მუხასთან) და დახმარებას შესთხოვდა. ხეს მუხლისჩოქით სამჯერ შემოუვლიდა, შემდეგ ნახშირით ხის ქერქზე სიმბოლოს გამოსახავდა და შუბლს მიადებდა და სიმბოლო მის შუბლზე გადავიდოდა.
შემდეგ სახლში ბრუნდებოდა და ავადმყოფ შვილს შუბლს მიადებდა ისე, რომ სიმბოლოს გამოსახულება ახლა ბავშვის შუბლზე გადასულიყო.
ეს და კიდევ უამრავი საინტერესო და მისტიური რიტუალი და საიდუმლო ინახება ქართულ მთებსა და ტყეებში, ამიტომ აუცილებელია ამ ყველაფრის შენახვა, გააზრება და მოფრთხილება.
English Translate:
Since time immemorial, different countries have been worshiping the tree cult.
In different cultures, benevolent spirits were represented in the form of trees.
The cult of the sacred tree was also widespread in Georgia.
Oak, Cedar, hornbeam, maple and others were considered sacred trees.
Our ancestors believed that the souls of dead people moved in the leaves and branches of trees.
Various rituals and prayers were performed under these trees.
One of the rituals is described in this video.
When the child fell ill, the father would go to a sacred tree (in this case an oak tree) and ask for help.
He would kneel around the tree three times, then draw a symbol on the bark of the tree with charcoal and put it on his forehead, and the symbol would be transferred to his forehead.
Then he would return home and touch the sick child's forehead so that the image of the symbol would now be on the child's forehead.
These and many more interesting and mystical rituals and secrets are kept in Georgian mountains and forests, so it is necessary to preserve, understand and take care of all this.
