Shortly after GEMINI ONE’s inception, the original members released their instrumental self-titled debut EP in fall of 2009. Combining elements from doom, sludge and post-metal, the EP earned them positive reviews and the attention of bookers as a result. Thus the band became a full-fledged live outfit and a staple in the german doom metal underground for the upcoming years.
To celebrate the debut EP’s fifteenth anniversary, GEMINI ONE decided to re-record the opening track „16:01:01:69“ in their current vocal backed line-up. This re-recording might be a look back - but even more, it’s a glimpse of the future - a preview of what’s to expect from GEMINI ONE’s sound and live performances in times to come. GEMINI ONE are back!
