Lyrics:
Terror spreads by nightfall
Blood burns down the floor
Screams rip through the air
How could she know?
Hate and savage temper
Armed his dreadful might
A cruel act in the name of love?
A woman died tonight
How many more will they suffer
In the hands of these beasts?
We will never forget what they died for
Now we protest in memory of the Seventeen
Shot down in the alley
Stabbed like helpless prey
Beaten in their very home
Lives are lost in vein
One was found cemented
Two with smothered throats
Rampage has no ending
When do we say no more?
How many more will they suffer
In the hands of these beasts?
We will never forget what they died for
Now we protest in memory of the Seventeen
Blood has been spent
Tears have been shed
The pain is deep, can't seize to be
Sisters and mothers, daughters and friends
They will all be redeemed
Oh, they will be redeemed
Yes they will all be redeemed
Their final act won't be in vain
They will be redeemed
How many more will they suffer
In the hands of these beasts?
We will never forget what they died for
Now we protest in memory of the Seventeen
