Exilium Noctis have returned more mature in 2025 with their second album, Pactum Diaboli, a dark and imposing work that explores themes such as religious conflict, the human soul, and the Faustian pact with Mephistopheles. The album delves into the concept of making deals with the devil, with the title Pactum Diaboli symbolizing the eternal struggle between temptation and the soul’s redemption.
This album marked a progression in the band's sound, incorporating more technical riffs and complex compositions. The title track, "Pactum Diaboli," featured guest vocals by Henri Sattler of God Dethroned, adding significant depth to the song.
