Uffe Pettersson comments: ”It’s always special when it comes to cover versions. It would be a natural thing for us to do a cover of a Vio-lence tune or perhaps something from Forbidden’s old catalogue. But too predictable! So we set our sights on something Swedish and more unusual. ”Ritual” is an old Ghost-classic and kind of a cult song from their first album. From our point of view it was a perfect song to turn into a thrashy track and it’s quite catchy with a strong chorus. You can also detect a resemblance in the lyrics for all of us who are fans of the Omen movies. Enjoy!”
