Lyrically, the song explores the struggle of letting down emotional walls, whether in love, friendship, or personal growth, and learning to trust, to be free, and to embrace the light of better days.
“It’s about having someone in your life but being too scared to move forward, to really let them in,” explains Russ Grimmett (Lead Vocalist). “We wanted this song to capture that moment of release, when you finally trust enough to let go and just be happy. Spend your days staring at the sun instead of hiding in the dark.”
